Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort

Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort’s 11th Annual CARe Show

More than 400 cars are expected to participate in the Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort’s 10th annual car show. The show was born from an effort to raise awareness and money to rescue and find homes for stray animals in San Juan Capistrano.

The 2014 CARe show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the San Juan Capistrano Community Center/Sports Park, 25920 Camino Del Avion. The CARe Show will feature live entertainment, opportunity drawings, displays, vendors, goodie bags and more. Food and beverages will be provided by Los Golondrinas. 2nd Annual Ford Petersen Spay Day at Alicia Pet Care Center

On Feb 11th, 2013 the world lost an incredible human being, Ford Petersen. Ford was set to graduate from UC Davis and was following his dream of becoming a veterinarian. Ford was a kind and gentle giant of a young man and was dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the animals that he worked with,” stated Dr. Matthew Wheaton. “In an effort to allow Ford to make the lasting impact on pets in our community that he so desired, we are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Ford Petersen Spay Day at Alicia Pet Care Center."

Alicia Pet Care Center will be immediately accepting requests from the community to be entered into a lottery system for a comprehensive spay or neuter service for up to 50 dogs and cats on Sunday, February 23th, 2014. These services will be at no cost to those that are chosen. To add your name to the lottery (each dog or cat is a separate entry), please call 949-768-1313 before Wednesday, February 19th at 7pm. Those that are selected will be notified by Friday, February 21st.
