Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort’s 7th Annual CARe Show

More than 400 cars are expected to participate in the Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort’s 7th annual car show on February 6th, 2010, the Saturday before Superbowl Sunday. The show was born from an effort to raise awareness and money to rescue and find homes for stray animals in San Juan Capistrano.

The 2010 CARe show will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the San Juan Capistrano Community Center/Sports Park, 25925 Camino Del Avion. The CARe Show will feature live entertainment, opportunity drawings, displays, vendors, goodie bags and more. Food and beverages will be provided by Ruby’s Diner. 4th Annual Orange County Super Pet Adoption Event

About 40 pet rescue groups and shelters will bring more than 500 homeless animals for adoption, including lots of puppies and kittens. Vladae "The Russian Dog Wizard" will be the celebrity guest trainer and will be giving behavior demonstrations and offering free training advice. There will be a great silent auction, including an Event Suite package for 24 to a King's game at the Staples Center, valued at $2,400. There will also be food, vendors, discount microchips, a raffle, and an "Ask the Vet" booth. Snoopy, the official greeter, will be giving away discount coupons to Knott's Berry Farm.
