Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort Saturday February 2nd

Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort’s 5th Annual CARe Show

More than 400 cars are expected to participate in the Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort’s 5th annual car show on February 2, 2008, the day before Superbowl Sunday. The show was born from an effort to raise awareness and money to rescue and find homes for stray animals in San Juan Capistrano.

The 2008 CARe show will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the San Juan Capistrano Community Center, 25925 Camino Del Avion. The CARe Show will feature live entertainment, opportunity drawings, displays, vendors, goodie bags and more. Food and beverages will be provided by Ruby’s Diner. This is the perfect opportunity for you and your dog to meet other canine friends and families, try out the agility course with Wags & Wiggles, view demonstrations, shop at the doggie boutiques, play some doggie games, and even win prizes! Dress your 4-legged best friend in their favorite outfit and enter the Doggie Costume Contest! The pet experts from around Rancho will answer any questions you might have and to share some new tricks with even the oldest of dogs!

A Dog Day Afternoon is open to all SAMLARC members, their friends and the guests of honor, the dogs! Please remember, for everyone's enjoyment, you'll need to keep your furry friends on their leashes.

Wags & Wiggles Dog Daycare & Training Facility, Part Deux Grand Opening

Wags & Wiggles Dog Daycare & Training Facility, Part Deux will have its Grand Opening on Sunday, March 30th 10am – 4pm. The entire campus is 50,000 sq ft. We have been working day and night to pull everything together and we can’t wait to have you all over.

The Grand Opening Party will have food, contests, prizes and giveaways. We also hope to have local vendors and entertainment. However, the facility itself is state of the art and is sure to be the main attraction. Friendly non aggressive dogs are welcome the party. All dogs will need to remain leashed.

Unforunately pets are not allowed due to the large number of animals on exhibit.

Lake Forest's Family Pet Day
The City of Lake Forest is proud to present its second annual Family Pet Day, a dog friendly afternoon filled with fun, furry friends and helpful information.

There will be a Frisbee dog show by Discs to Dogs, The OrangeCounty Shelter will be bringing their mobile adoption unit, information booths, music and bounce houses! Families are invited to bring their pets for pictures, play and to partake in the fun. Food will be available for all species – the four legged and two legged type!
