Orange County's Dog Friendly Beaches
Ahhh, dog friendly beaches...where you and your pal can enjoy the sun, surf & sand!

Corona del Mar
A hidden little town...Marley & I could spend hours just walking the tree lined streets of Corona del Mar admiring one-of-a-kind homes, forgetting the spectacular coastline is only a glance away.
While we might not have all day reign, CDM welcomes leashed dogs from 6am to 9am & after 5pm, making it a perfect dog friendly beach for you & Sam to drop on in on from time to time. Just an hour or two allows you & your pooch to visit Main CDM Beach (aka Big Corona), stop at Inspiration Point & swing down to Little Corona, meeting fellow furry friends along the way.
If you aren't able to enjoy some early morning or evening sand time, just drop by Bristol Farms in the Corona del Mar Plaza.Grab a couple of their fantastic salads and some doggie treats & you and your dog can enjoy an ocean view picnic overlooking Corona Del Mar's gorgeous coastline.
Dana Point
While dogs are not allowed on Dana Point's beaches, we've included it here because there are many beautiful spots where you & your dog can enjoy amazing views of the DP surf and sand.
The most impressive of these views is found while walking the oceanfront trail at Salt Creek Beach Park located at 33333 South Pacific Coast Highway. Here you can pause to enjoy a picnic with your pooch at the seven-acre park boasting stunning panoramic ocean vistas. Before you go don't forget to walk up the hill in front of the Ritz Carlton; the uphill hike is worth it as you are greeted by astounding views of the pacific, Catalina Island and Strands beach to the south.
A trip down to the Dana Point Marina won't disappoint. Here you'll find dog friendly restaurants, shopping and beautiful waterfront views as you walk along the harbor. Want to see Dana Point up close and personal? Maybe a little kayak tour is what you & your pal are searching for or a visit to one of Dana Point's 5 Dog Fun Zones. Stop by our guide to
