Cheer squads from Estancia and Costa Mesa High Schools and other volunteers will be washing dogs of all sizes for $20 to raise money for Bark Park -- one of the only dog parks that is still completely self-supporting.

Also at the event: Vendors, dog adoptions, Raffle, food trucks, BBQ, face painting for the kids, microchips, and Agility course. Trainers will be giving the CANINE GOOD CITIZEN Exam at the park for $10 which also goes to benefit Bark park.

Fullerton's Dog Days of Summer

If your pooch kisses like there’s no tomorrow, eats like he has just gotten off a diet, or stirs up a hurricane when he wags his tail, the Fullerton Museum Center would like to have a talk with you.

Dogs of all shapes, sizes and talents are being sought for the museum’s annual “Dog Days of Summer” talent show and competition.

The pet friendly event will be held at the outdoor Fullerton Market, located on Wilshire Avenue, between Harbor Boulevard and Pomona Avenue. Doggie competitions and entertainment will be held from 5-8 p.m.;the market runs from 4-8:30 p.m.

Owners may sign their dogs up for the competitions the day of the event. In addition to the competitions, a variety of dog- and pet-related groups and services will sponsor booths at the event.

The Orange County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OCSPCA), with supporting sponsors, is proud to announce the 14th Annual 5K/2K Walk for the Animals. This pet friendly event will be Sunday, September 25th at 9:00am in Central Park East (Golden West & Talbert Avenues behind the Central Library) in Huntington Beach.

This years theme is "Hooray for Howllywood" so come decked out in your Hollywood glam! The event will be emceed by Maria Hall-Bown of KOCE's Real Orange and Ken Borgers of the Jazz Know Internet Radio. Bring the entire family and the furry ones to this super fun pet friendly event!

Max's Ring of Fire Lemon Run

Join us in raising awareness and funds for childhood cancer by supporting the Max's Ring of Fire Lemon Run, a pet friendly event & a joint effort of two leading childhood cancer charities, Max’s Ring of Fire (MROF) & Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. The course will offer something for athletes of all abilities. Come run or walk beautiful Lake Miramar’s full distance of 4.6 miles in honor of the 46 children who are diagnosed with childhood cancer each school day. A one mile Family Fun Run will also be available.

Not local to the San Diego area? Join us as a Virtual Runner or Walker. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers of various age groups and to all children registered in the one mile race. We are honored to partner with MROF in this San Diego event!

Proceeds raised from events such as Wag 'n' Walk allow the Center to provide a safe haven for the homeless animals that come through our door until a new forever home can be found.

Complete with High School bands, Fireman's BBQ, carolers, bouncy houses, Santa Visits restaurant tasting & a grand opportunity drawing full of local prizes. It will be a fun and festive pet friendly event for the entire family!
