Join us Saturday July 16 at the Los Alamitos Race Course for the 21st Annual Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals to benefit the Seal Beach Animal Care Center! Purchase tickets ($5 for adults, 17 & under free) at the Care Center, from a Care Center volunteer, or online and pick them up at the Care Center or at the SBACC EZ up in the front of the race course entrance.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate the day of the event, but these tickets do not benefit the Care Center!

Get stoked! It’s time for the most adorable surf event of the year. At the Unleashed by Imperial Beach Petco Surf Dog Competition, the most fearless dogs will jump on their boards, paddle out and hang 20!

Warm-up for the Surf Dog Competition . . .Join us at the San Diego Unleashed SurFUR Swell Hours! Leading up to the event, Unleashed by Petco will be hosting two mini-events called the Unleashed SurFUR Swell Hours in select San Diego stores.  These mini events will feature SurFUR costume contests, SurFUR photo booth, dog adoptions, mocktails and puptails, raffles and more.

The first annual Cars & Doggies event will take place on August 28th, 2016 at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre. This car show and family hangout was created to benefit the MPS Army Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping dogs affected by MPS-VI.

We’re putting together and exciting array of activities for everyone throughout the day. Whether you come for the cars, the dogs, or the family fun; you’re sure to have a blast!

Del Mar Dog Beach Dog Surfing Competition & Beach Day!

Friends, families, and pups come together for a day of sun, surf, and fun, all to benefit the animals and programs at Helen Woodward Animal Center! Hunker down on the beach for the day to watch more than 80 gromMUTTS and surFURS compete for the title of “Top Surf Dog.” 

The 11th annual Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon begins at 8:30am, September 11, 2016, at Dog Beach in Del Mar. Spectators are welcome to come enjoy the dog surfing competition as well as interactive vendor booths, food, a doggy costume contest, dog agility course, live music, opportunity drawings, and summer fun!

Dog owners hailing from as far as Florida, Australia and Brazil will be packing up their pups and bringing them to sunny Huntington Beach to participate in the Unleashed by Petco Surf City Surf Dog® event. The 8th annual event takes place on September 25, 2016 at Huntington Dog Beach.  The centerpiece of this event features a multi-heat surfing competition with dogs as the contestants. Bring your family and friends (& dogs) to witness this fun day!

Seal Beach’s 21st Annual 2016 Wag ‘N Walk

LOCATION: Eisenhower Park (adjacent to the Seal Beach Pier)

Seal Beach’s 2016 Wag 'n' Walk will begin at Eisenhower Park located at the foot of the Seal Beach Pier, and participants will receive prizes based upon the amount of pledges raised. The pet friendly event also includes entertainment, sponsor booths, opportunity drawings, food, beverages and prize presentations. We hope you will join us for a fun filled day with your four-legged friends at one of Orange County's Best Pet Friendly Events!

Wag ‘n’ Walk benefits The Seal Beach Animal Care Center, a non--profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1986. The Center is supported solely by donations, grants and fundraisers. Proceeds raised from events such as Wag 'n' Walk allow the Center to provide a safe haven for the homeless animals that come through our door until a new forever home can be found.

The San Onofre Foundation (SOF) and Pet Project Foundation (PPF) are sponsoring Woofstock 2015 - People and Paws for our State Parks from Noon-4 pm in partnership with California State Parks.

This 4th annual event will be held at San Clemente State Beach Campground in the Campfire Center and Nature Area and includes entertainment, food, costume parade and contests, Halloween-themed photo booth, and more. Woofstock is a Fun, Family and Dog Friendly Extravaganza and Fundraising and Outreach Event Benefiting Pets and the Environment.

All proceeds go to PPF for the care and welfare of animals at the San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter and to SOF for annual pet waste station costs at the Parks.

Yappy Howl-O-Ween

Held from 4 to 7 p.m., Yappy Howl-O-Ween is the chance for pups to strut their stuff in their favorite costume. A panel of judges will determine which canine will take home the prize in the costume categories of Dynamic Duo, Most Creative, Cute and Cuddly and, of course, Best in Show. First place prize in each category is a hand-painted dog bowl by Debby Carman of Faux Paws Productions. Donation to enter the costume contest is $10 per canine per category.

This is the World's largest Halloween pet event!

The 16th annual HAUTE DOG HOWL'OWEEN PARADE and human/dog costume contest!

REGISTRATION OPENS LATE SEPT.

The parade is expected to include a few hundred kids and adults in costumes, followed by more than 500 costumed dogs with handlers. A few thousand human gawkers will line the parade route, including a panel of distinguished judges that will choose a few dozen human and canine costume winners. Haute Dogs will raise thousands for spay/neuter programs, adoption/rescue groups, Operation Santa Paws and other Long Beach service projects.
