Or you might choose The Pacific Edge Hotel, an progressive & affordable oceanfront resort where dogs of all sizes are welcome at a fee of $50 per night.

The Casa del Camino is another beautiful oceanfront hotel welcoming dogs up to 35 pounds.

When its time to eat, Laguna has a number of fantastic dog friendly restaurants with outdoor dining to choose from.

Some top choices include:

Madison Square & Garden Cafe, featuring German Apple Pancakes, creative egg dishes, a variety of delicious salads, sandwiches & vegetarian options, is open for lunch & dinner with a very dog friendly patio.

The Urth Caffe features an array of gourmet sandwiches, signature salads, entrees, organic coffee and fine teas while dining on their large dog friendly patio.

Taco Loco offers a casual, outdoor setting where you can feast on spicy lobster or blackened swordfish tacos, while absorbing a little reggae music along with the local upbeat culture.

Maybe a dog friendly happy hour spot is in the cards?

You'll find happy hour & early bird specials at Hennessey's Tavern from 4-7pm on their downstairs patio. Their Irish Nachos are hard to beat...yum!

If a cocktail is more your style, stop by The Rooftop Lounge where you can enjoy a mango martini with a gorgeous oceanfront view.

And at Laguna Village's The Cliff you'll not only find happy hour beer specials (including Tahiti's own Hinano beer), you'll also be greeted by incredible panoramic vistas along their dog friendly oceanfront patio.

Head down to Areo on Ocean Avenue, where class meets creativity and a great sense of humor in this store that has it all, from home decor & jewelry to unique art & craft pieces, and cards for any occasion.

Best of all, the friendly staff at Areo provides a big bowl of cold water at the front door and invites your four-legged friends in with a scratch behind the ear and a variety of treats. This stop is not to be missed!

If its pet supplies, a fluffy new pet bed, or a homemade treat you are shopping for, Laguna Beach has some great spots... Naked Dog Bistro located at 424 Forest Avenue is Laguna's place for happy healthy pets in the OC. Check out their dog bakery and fresh baked dog food.

Coast Pet Supply

Coast Pet Supply is where the Laguna local dogs go to pick up their food, treats and daily necessities to keep being a beach dog has its requirements!

Rufus will always be greeted with a smile and a treat at Coast Pet Supply, which boasts a large supply of healthy pet food, supplies, toys and treats.

Don't forget leashed dogs are welcome on the sand all day in Laguna Beach from September 11th through June 14th. Summer hours are before 9am and after 6pm from June 15th through September 10th.
