Adopt-A-Dog Month

Greetings from The OC Dogumentary! Fall has arrived…football is here, fun with our furry friends abounds and we are happy to promote American Humane’s Adopt-a-Dog Month.

Big dogs, small dogs, adult dogs, puppy dogs -- you can find them all at your local shelter or breed rescue group. And each one is guaranteed to enhance your life, make you smile and rock your world.

Millions of dogs are surrendered to our nation’s animal welfare organizations every year, not because they are bad or unlovable, but because their owners just couldn’t take care of them anymore. Now these dogs are homeless, and they need a second chance. American Humane works year-round to support these animal welfare organizations, promote adoptions and enhance the bond that people share with their companion animals. And each year, we celebrate American Humane’s Adopt-A-Dog Month and give shelters tools and resources to continue fostering connections between people and pets.

We encourage everyone to visit their local shelters, learn about the services they provide and -- best of all -- see all the wonderful dogs they have ready to be adopted.

Tails a Wag Inn
Bed and Breakfast for Dogs!
Anaheim Hills, CA
(714) 336-9869

Conveniently located in Anaheim Hills near Disneyland, with clients all over Orange and Los Angeles Counties and beyond.

Our pets are our family. They deserve a loving home while you are away. Their daily routine is kept as closely as possible and their special needs are taken care of.

We love all of our doggie guests. And they will too!

This is not your typical pet sitting or pet boarding environment. This is my home and I am here with them 80% of the time. Your dog is allowed the run of the house, furniture and yard, CAGE FREE. The only time I crate is when the owners ask me to do so as their "kid" has been trained that way and finds it soothing.

Animal lovers! Don't forget to vote Yes on Prop 2 -- Californians for Humane Farms is the proud sponsor of the Prevention of Farm Animal Cruelty Act, an initiative that will appear on California's November 2008 ballot. It is cruel and inhumane to confine animals in cages so small they can’t turn around or stretch their limbs. All animals deserve humane treatment, including those raised for food. Vote YES! on Prop 2 to protect animals from unacceptable abuse.

She had no particular breed in mind, no unusual requirements. Except the special sense of mutual recognition that tells dog and human they have both come to the right place.
